I copied and pasted the sample master page code from the FML documentation. I removed the addressBarIcon attribute from the fx:masterpage tag, copied and pasted into the Master Page editor on the Developer Pane. On save, I see:

Unexpected character sequence " googleTracker ", at line 1

So I yanked the googleTracker attribute and the id attribute. It compiles fine now, I just thought you might want to fix your doc.
