Examples

Code samples are provided here for the Flux Markup Language, Data Access API and the Widget Developer Kit. When starting to use the Flux Platform, it's a great idea to take these examples and create your own customized functionality based on these. See the specific sections below for more detail.

FML Examples

These FML examples are a perfect way to get started creating customized FML modules for your community. These samples were created using the standard Flux community CSS styles, so you can easily plug the samples into your own community and they will automatically inherit your own chosen CSS theme. This list of sample modules will continue to grow over time, so keep checking back for more updates.

Widget Developer Kit (WDK)

These Widget Developer Kit examples demonstrate the use of custom markup and custom java script logic to create your own very customized widgets. It is a good idea to use these as a starting point when trying to customize widgets as they demonstrate the steps needed to take a default widget and through WDK customization create very specific UI or functionality to suit your needs.
